Thomas Jefferson lost Tuesday night’s rain-delayed presidents race at Nationals Park, marking his 34th loss of the season against zero victories heading into Wednesday’s College Rivalry Night.
Jefferson has been the presidential whipping boy this season, losing in a variety of unflattering ways and causing some to question whether the Nats are trying to make Tom the new Teddy.
But among those who’ve followed Tom’s misfortune this season, many have circled Wednesday night’s game against the Braves. Nationals Park will host “College Rivalry Night” featuring sections devoted to Virginia Tech and University of Virginia students and alumni. The UVA money has Tom taking victory number one.
