As was first reported by the intrepid Chico Harlan, for several innings of tonight’s game vs. the Florida Marlins at Nationals Park, Nationals players Adam Dunn and Ryan Zimmerman sported uniforms with the word “Nationals” misspelled. The “o” was missing, making it “Natinals”, as you can see in this image from the broadcast.
The players switched jerseys mid-game after the error was noticed.
[May update: the story won’t die]
The game was a heartbreaker, with Joel Hanrahan blowing his first save opportunity in the 9th inning. The 4th inning presidents race offered no theatrics — just a convincing wire-to-wire victory for Thomas Jefferson, with Teddy pulling up the rear.

I suppose even at the pro level mishaps like this happen, the Natinals, I mean Nationals must be saying the same thing. A blunder that must a have had career ending and contract ending consequences.
