Presidents Race Results: Readers Take Over

The Washington Nationals racing presidents at Nationals ParkI am in Alaska this week, where needless to say we are unable to attend the rest of the Nationals homestand vs. the Braves and Phillies. As we did in previous summers, we are going to ask the loyal Let Teddy Win readers to take over!

Presidents Race Fan

I am a huge Washington Nationals fan (and partial season ticket holder) whose son fell in love with the Presidents Race from that first day in July, 2006 when big-headed Teddy first came up short. It's wonderful to think that such a fan-friendly tradition could become established in DC so quickly. Who says DC doesn't have great fans? I hope that our chants of "Let Teddy Win!" during the Presidents Race will continue to add fun and excitement to Nationals Park, and help turn more and more young people into Washington Nationals fans.   2. On Friday night, Teddy had the lead but stopped to give flowers to Miss Iowa! Teddy’s such a gentleman.
