When MASN sideline reporter Dan Kolko donned the costume of Thomas Jefferson and ran in the Nats’ presidents race Friday night at Nationals Park, he wasn’t the first journalist to have attempted the feat. He was, however, the first to have done so while wearing a GoPro camera strapped to his chest.
Kolko …er, Jefferson… got a good start out of the gate, but faded quickly as Abe Lincoln turned on the afterburners and ran away with the race. Jefferson did cross the finish line, but was a full eleven seconds behind the leader.
