In what looks to be the most competitive season in the history of the Nationals’ presidents race, Thomas Jefferson is now the only president who has yet to taste victory.
On Tuesday night at Nationals Park, the competition was committed to keeping it that way.
As they approached the home stretch in the fourth inning race, George Washington knocked over Jefferson, and Abe Lincoln stayed behind to finish the job. Teddy turned back to look, and Washington raced by for the win.
