Baseball’s winter meetings may yet provide some exciting news about our Nationals, but with DC focused these days on football and inaugurations, I don’t expect to be posting much in December. In the meantime, I’ve finally cleaned up the shop at letteddywin.com, just in time for Nationals fan holiday shopping.
There are tons of new items from CafePress including new sweatshirts and hoodies, long-sleeve t-shirts, Teddy mugs, aprons, pet bowls, boxers, thongs, bumper stickers, and even some buttons calling out Abe Lincoln for the crook he really is. As always, I am eager to hear your feedback and ideas on what to add.
Thanks. You have all made this a very fun year. Happy holidays!
Nice post. Thank you for the info. Keep it up.
Hi!
I’m Kristin, a University of Pennsylvania psychology student and a huge baseball fan. I am currently conducting an honors thesis study on clutch ability and psychological characteristics of Major league baseball players. I made a survey asking fans to rate players from various teams on certain characteristics. One of these teams is the Nationals and it would be great to have some Nationals fans fill out my survey and rate their favorite players. Here is some background info:
What is “clutch”? What players are considered “clutch” performers? What players are “gritty” or have natural talent? Are these players also “clutch”? These frequently cited terms in the game of baseball have rarely been objectively studied. I have created a survey asking about some Major League players’ characteristics and it would be great if some of you, being huge baseball fans, could fill it out! It should only take a maximum of 10 minutes. Also, I would love to hear any comments that you have about my survey! Thanks so much for all your help!
Here is the website for my survey: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=VUWValhJzb65tk1lZoMMEQ_3d_3d

Kristin, you should also try posting the survey at WNFF.NET. Good luck!
I love this website! I grew up in NoVa with the Senators and now live in CT and I have really enjoyed the Presidents’ race when I get down to DC to see a game…
It has quickly become a tradition in DC…
Please keep up the blog for this upcoming year as well….you should have a contest to come up with the most imaginitive (and doable) methods to foil Teddy for the upcoming season’s races.
Honest Abe? A Crook? Scandalous and unfounded lies! He won fair and square! He did it on beer and fruit salad!
Looks like Teddy is getting warmed up for the season…he is heading up to Syracuse to join the Nats Triple-A affiliate for their Hot Stove Dinner…

Thanks FAN #1 for the tip!
