Video: Abe shows no sense of humor on International Joke Day

Abe Lincoln cheats presidents race Nationals ParkOn Tuesday night at Nationals Park, Teddy Roosevelt stopped his fellow racing presidents on the warning track to read them the “Joke of the Day” in celebration of International Joke Day.

George, Tom, and Bill started laughing, but Abe Lincoln grabbed the joke from Teddy’s hands, tore it up, and raced for the finish line.

We knew Abe cheated. Apparently he’s also got no sense of humor.

Presidents Race Fan

I am a huge Washington Nationals fan (and partial season ticket holder) whose son fell in love with the Presidents Race from that first day in July, 2006 when big-headed Teddy first came up short. It's wonderful to think that such a fan-friendly tradition could become established in DC so quickly. Who says DC doesn't have great fans?
