Teddy Roosevelt Bobblehead DollAsylum.com is giving away authentic Teddy Roosevelt Bobblehead dolls to two lucky presidents race fans.

The popular AOL blog site wrote about Teddy’s off season training efforts just before the season started. Today, they announced the giveaway sweepstakes. To enter, simply leave a comment on today’s blog post about Teddy before April 20 at 6 p.m. EST.

Note that this is not the doll sold at the Nationals Park team store. Winners receive the rare original bobblehead doll that was given away for Teddy Roosevelt’s bobblehead night at RFK Stadium on on September 1, 2007.

Speaking of bobblehead dolls, the Nationals’ own bobblehead sweepstakes has ended, but voting remains open to determine whose bobblehead will be given away at the August 28 game at Nationals Park. You can still vote for Teddy here.

Presidents Race Fan

I am a huge Washington Nationals fan (and partial season ticket holder) whose son fell in love with the Presidents Race from that first day in July, 2006 when big-headed Teddy first came up short. It's wonderful to think that such a fan-friendly tradition could become established in DC so quickly. Who says DC doesn't have great fans? I hope that our chants of "Let Teddy Win!" during the Presidents Race will continue to add fun and excitement to Nationals Park, and help turn more and more young people into Washington Nationals fans.
