Running of the Bulls video: George Washington attacks Thomas Jefferson

bull horns and rammed into Thomas Jefferson, sending him diving over the railing (and practically into a fan holding a Let Teddy Win sign).

We didn’t get our usual video from Sunday’s contest, but we thought we’d provide the next best thing.

I am a huge Washington Nationals fan (and partial season ticket holder) whose son fell in love with the Presidents Race from that first day in July, 2006 when big-headed Teddy first came up short. It's wonderful to think that such a fan-friendly tradition could become established in DC so quickly. Who says DC doesn't have great fans? I hope that our chants of "Let Teddy Win!" during the Presidents Race will continue to add fun and excitement to Nationals Park, and help turn more and more young people into Washington Nationals fans.
