  1. I attended last night’s game with my father and brothers. The new food is good, not unlike something found at a high end mall food court. I’ve read others comment similarly and it’s an apt description. No points deducted.

The ambiance is lacking. Is it my imagination or did the Lerner family or Feffer get snookered by “the New Yorkers” into decorating with blue and black? Seeing colors of the New York Mets, a division rival, did not make us feel we were in our home ballpark at all. Where is the Get Your Red On feel? The astroturf seating area had all the charm of a Motel 6. 😦 We quickly left.

  2. I like all of the new items like the Shake Shack and Box Frites, but these were Citi Field institutions, and if I were going to a game at Nats Park I would want to try some of their local items like Ben’s Chili dog or the Hard Times nachos. Nothing against the Shackburger, but I would prefer to see DC institutions at a DC ballpark.

What do you think?
