It’s safe to say we have a few years to go before baseball is a year-round fixation for any but the most dedicated fans in Washington. Thus this beautiful bell curve documenting the seasonality of visitors to the presidents race blog.

Baseball’s winter meetings may yet provide some exciting news about our Nationals, but with DC focused these days on football and inaugurations, I don’t expect to be posting much in December. In the meantime, I’ve finally cleaned up the shop at letteddywin.com, just in time for Nationals fan holiday shopping.

There are tons of new items from CafePress including new sweatshirts and hoodies, long-sleeve t-shirts, Teddy mugs, aprons, pet bowls, boxers, thongs, bumper stickers, and even some buttons calling out Abe Lincoln for the crook he really is. As always, I am eager to hear your feedback and ideas on what to add.

I just added this new product last week and ordered one immediately for my daughter. I must say it looks great, and she absolutely does not want to take it off. She wore it to bed, and took it to school the next day (even though it was 90 degrees in DC)! I will have to take a photo of her in it for letteddywin.com.

The Let Teddy Win kids hoodie is made of soft, 100% cotton fleece and will be perfect for night games at Nationals Park — especially early in the season.

The Let Teddy Win presidents race store is still a work in progress, but boy am I glad I decided to use cafepress. They are really easy to work with and the merchandise is really of high quality. The direct printing looks good and appears to me as if it will last forever. If I were looking to build a money-making business I might not use them, because they take most of the $$, but I’m just looking to cover my costs and have fun here and promote Teddy to win the presidents race without investing too much money.
