The real Theodore Roosevelt would call that “mollycoddling.” He wouldn’t want anyone to LET him win. He’d want to earn it.

Think about it: Imagine all three opponents, Screech, and anyone else trying to stop him, and he still triumphs. Now THAT would be in the spirit of the original TR… who, as you may be aware, hated being called Teddy. (He preferred the initials, or Colonel, his Army rank.)
